The magic behind Tinkerbell
Many believe that Bell – the fairy who appears in the 1953 Disney film "Peter Pan – is a creation of Walt Disney Company. Not at all. Tinkerbell is a character that was created almost half a century before the film Peter Pan was released.
Tinkerbell, also known as Tink for brevity, is a fictional character who appeared in a play by JM Barrie in 1904 and later wrote a novel titled Peter and Wendy, which was published in 1911.
Tinkerbell was described by JM Barrie as metal pots and pans and pans fairy like Tinker should be real. His dialogue in the game and later the novel is composed of the sounds of a bell, which is comprehensible only to those familiar with the language of history. Although sometimes very cranky, surly and vengeful (eg, coaxing lost children to start Wendy arrows), sometimes it is helpful and kind to Peter. Tinker Bell was originally part of the Disney Princess franchise, but it was removed in 2005 to take its place as the central character of the new franchise Disney Fairies. In Disneyland, Pixie Hollow and meet a welcome open space in 2008, where customers are able to interact with Tinker Bell and his companions.

Interestingly, the copyright for the character Tinker Bell is owned by Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England. A bronze statue of Tinkerbell is at the entrance to the hospital to commemorate the fact that the Scots born JM Barrie bequeathed the copyright to the character of children in the hospital until his death in 1937.
