Beautiful wax sculpture will be easy
There is something infinitely beautiful about a well-formed candle. People pay a high price for this art and I often many People will avoid using them because they are so exquisite.
If you use the sculpted candle, you end up with melted condition, trying to figure out exactly what do with it now. Of course, you can fuse to make more candles but why do not they come together to create another sculpture.
I'm not a big fan of abstract art, but I love these sculptures in wax. They are easy to make and you can do with older children under supervision. In fact, the first time I made a abstract sculpture of wax, there were only 13.
They are very easy to make and only need a few elements to create a beautiful work of art. You do not even need candles!
What you need:
· Wax – This is the most important element to a wax sculpture, but I used store bought any of the old crayons. Remember that some colors blend together creating a muddy colored, but others do not.
• Double boiler – Since you are melting wax, it is best to use a double boiler or metal bowl in a few inches of water. Add a pot of wax from a direct heat source may cause fire or at least may burn the wax and ruin the pot.
· Dye – This step is optional and sometimes you can play with the colors you have in the crayons or candles of age.
· Plates Metal Pie – disposable pie plates work best for this type of project
Kitchen • Sink – The more the better.
Directions:
1. Before starting to melt the wax, it is important to prepare. Remove any wrappers crayons, and cut the locks of the old candles .
2. Once everything is ready, fill the kitchen sink with cold water. Cold, better. Fill in as deep as you can, but make sure it does not spill over the sides when you immerse the arm.
3. Melt the wax medium-low heat on the stove in a bath marie. To make sure that the colors do not blend, use a bit of double boiler, each with a different color.
4. When the wax is melted, carefully pour between 2 or 3 inches of hot wax into a pie plate as it is in the water. Playing with different levels of melted wax.
5. Quickly turn the pie plate slightly, then dip the plate. The candle wax is Bulow in long queues and create a wax sculpture. Ensure Use rubber gloves, and the best because the wax is still hot, as it forms.
6. Leave the water and carefully pour excess water.
7. Remove the pie plate and if you do not like, simply remove and return the pan to melt.
Playing with depth of wax and dip the way at the bottom will give you a wide range of sculptures that do, the jagged ice sculptures for trees swollen delicate fairy mushroom. Most sculptures have a flat space where a candle can be glass or connected for use as a sculpture.
