i think that the way they draw you into the illusory space is a 100 times more effective than just having a landscape photo or painting on the wall….and even though the surface is two dimensional, the illusory space is so restful to the eye, that it could have some indefineable visual benefit.

I think I’d find them annoying if I had them too long. You’d need a system of bieng able to change them. The other problem I see is that living spaces in cities are small so walls tend to have bookcases, etc. etc against them so where would the pictures go? If you are thinking of outside , or in corridors then waht about vandalism?
