The development of T-shirt
With every generation movie stars have worn. Rock stars have shredded. And celebrities were counted. Any person in Paris? The shirt was the essential way for over 70 years, and probably another 70 years of age. So how has happened here and what lies the future?
Origins – Call to Arms Short Sleeve
The humble beginnings can be traced back shirts in early 1930. First World War European soldiers entrenched in mud wore the shirt as underwear. The benefits of light cotton underwear were quickly adopted by U.S. military. By the Second World War, the U.S. military and Navy had supplied the number of shirts. T-shirts at the time were still considered underwear and do not use lightly.
1950 – cult movie Bad Boys
With the help of a sweating Brando in the 1951 film "A Streetcar Named Desire "and later a brooding James Dean in" Rebel Without a Cause "T-shirt had moved to the youth culture in general. Elvis had turned when the seed was planted teenage rebellion in jeans and T-shirt had become the hot fashion statement.
1960 – From beatniks in Vietnam
The 60 was well known for social upheavals and political events. Many subcultures developed from beatniks, Mods, Rockers, ultimately, hippy. In the 60's, the Beatles had ignored the shirt dress brand choice. But at the end of the 60's the haze of the hippie generation had created the tie dyed shirts. Steeped in many places of the parties associated with the idea alive chemical dyes began to be a symbol of the psychedelic era and possibly a crime more likely than a hundred years. Other shirt styles were born as the ringer, muscle, V-neck and tank t-shirts. The invention of the printing screen was social and political slogans expressed on apparel especially for anti-war feelings Vietnam.
1970 – Your Disco Needs You
Rock out beating to death the Hippy has its own sandals. The shirt is now issued standard with logos printed on stadium rock supergroups like Led Zeppelin, ACDC and Pink Floyd. Surf clothing in the mid-70 began to appear. Factories Market Research Turbo as bolts, Billabong, Quiksilver Grab Curl and since then over time prove to be a big business. Athletic giants Adidas, Puma, Reebok and Nike also gained stage with their brand printed shirts, shoes and clothing. The decade was also known by many shirt slogan, including smiley face, "Sh * t Happens" and "I love NY" which would see a revival after 911. Fonzie in Happy Days the TV comedy homage to Brando and Dean 20 years before returning to enter the white shirt in white. In 1977, the Star Wars phenomenon had exploded. Star Wars T-shirts were everywhere for the tween. However, for twenty, Disco was some progress. With movies like Saturday Night Fever and Thank God It's Friday flares and tight T-shirt has become the standard silhouette 70.
1980 – beep beep mode
The influence of music had an extreme effect on fashion in the 80's. The Romantic movement in the 80, had spent the simple tee, opting for a longer look extravagant. Remember Flock of Seagulls? On the opposite spectrum the Punk movement was in flight with black ripped tees, Doc Martens boots, piercing, and much, a lot of hair gel.
In the mid-eighties, the influence of Japanese fashion had taken. Designers Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake had reinvented t-shirt of a sharp fall in the style of kimono large. Katherine Hamnett in 1984 went a step further with the notable "Choose Life" print which was immediately adopted by Wham! in their video "Wake Me Up Before Go Go". Not long after Frankie said "Relax" and the Smiths said "Meat kills" regurgitating the political t-shirt special.
Since the output is derived Women's oversized "T-shirt dress" which became colored neon lights and glow days.
Springsteen jeans and a T-shirt back to basics with rolled up during its male born in America. For generation of reality TV had a special shirt Armani for the current mode is the first real output under any jacket. Of course the suit jacket sleeves rolled up wing Crocket and Tubbs Miami Vice style (Spoofed in the special episode of friends).
1990 – Come As You Are
Surf T has seen a revival developed by new brands Stussy and Mossimo. Also adopted by Skaters long sleeve shirt has become increasingly popular. Fashion T-shirt in the fabric Hypercolor has changed color with heat was very popular. Fun when the person worked until sweat big unsightly patches to change the color undoubtedly occur around the armpits.
Once again the influence of music comes into play. Hip Hop has shown that it was the adoption of the first phase of Adidas as a brand. Rap brands later, several specific emerged as Sean John and Phat Farm. Dance, Trance and DJing gained prominence and tighter and shirt shirts worn baggy pants became the fashion. Grunge anti-fashion also took the tee in another direction with an aspect worn-dark.
Century 21 brand for children
Experts say the mark of Al and Laura Ries in his book "The Origin of brands, "as a category of product is developed the category and then moves further away in more categories. Like a tree, where some branches may die and others will continue to grow and diverge again. That probably explains the invention of television. Television is the television section humble B & W to many other categories. Now CRT, Plasma, LCD, HDTV, Rear Projection, portable and widescreen.
There is no doubt that divergence has affected the shirt. The very form of the shirt broke any tight, regular, loose hip-hop tee for baby. With the advent of the Internet has seen a boom in small shirt label startups. Now there are many categories as we are almost overwhelmed by the options. Some
categories t-shirt/apparel are:
Skating Brands: Hurley International, Globe, Element, Volcom, World
Surf Brands: Billabong, Mambo, Rip Curl, Rusty Quiksilver which has deviated waves Roxy girl category.
Snowboard Brands: Burton, Salomon
Hip Hop Brand: Sean John, Ecko, G-Unit, Phat Farm.
American Retro classic brands: Dickies, Von Dutch, Harley Davidson.
Martial Arts Brands: Drunk Munky and various Bruce Lee and logos Chuck Norris.
Funny T-shirts: Vote for Pedro. Jesus is my homeboy, White Castle.
Internet Brands: T-shirt Hell, Café Press, Threadless.
Sports Brands: Puma, Nike, Adidas, Reebok.
American Basic Brands: Hanes, American Apparel, Fruit of the Loom and GAP.
High fashion brands: Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein.
The future
So which category branches and die, and will survive the next decade? Would you rather look like Eminem, Kelly Slater or Tony Hawk? What's a shirt anyway? It is a simple design with a color screen illustrations printed clothing with a hobby, sport, band or wealth can be identified? Or is it a branded product, marketed and directly mass produced for your group particular demographic? Anyway shirts have become a multibillion dollar industry.
What future for the tee, not so humble? We witnessing the fibers of the 21st century as the Gore-Tex, merino wool and Lycra blends being used. In terms logos of some styles of art seems to be growing video game t-shirts, poker t-shirts and Web. Will sailing near or skate brands? Most likely. Others develop from our favorite pastime? Could even be a mark of Sudoku a trademark of MySpace, make porn, or an iPod brand shirts? Perhaps design your own the new black? One thing is certain, the history been shown to diversify further in the coming decades. The power of the shirt has never been greater. Awesome!

To Have and Have Not $8.12 Yes, it’s true: you can virtually see Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall falling for each other in this Howard Hawks variation on Casablanca but adapted from–as legend has it–Ernest Hemingway’s self-declared “worst novel.” (The story goes that Hawks told Hemingway he could make a movie of the author’s least work, and Hemingway gave him the rights to this story.)
