A guide for the two types of ceramic tiles
There are two main types of building ceramics, glazed and unglazed. When we look on a tile from the coast, you can see two layers. The body of the tile, or largest layer, called the cake and the top layer is called enamel. Tiles have a hard non-porous impervious surfaces after cooking. They are more resistant to stains unglazed tiles and are easy to clean.

There are five stages in the manufacturing process of ceramic tiles: mining, smelting and mixing, pressing, glazing and the kitchen.
Step 1: Basic and Organic.
The process begins with the extraction of raw materials, which is a mixture of clay and minerals in particular.
Step 2: Conversion of muddy sand.

The other type is called biocuttura or double fired tile. Biocuturra tiles are drawn first after the green tile is dried and then fired again after the glaze is applied.
