Xian Travel – Great Wild Goose Pagoda
The Pagoda Big Wild Goose is in the Cien Temple is 4 km from the center of Xian , Is one of the main sites of Xian. It was built in 652 AD designed and supervised by the first abbot of the temple Xuan Zang to keep the Buddhist sutras of Buddha relics, which had brought with him from his travels to India. Located inside the temple there are two rare stelae inscribed by two emperors of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Contrails still can be seen today in which were placed in 1,200 years ago.

The temple complex in the Great Wild Goose Pagoda is full of beautiful gardens and impressive architecture. Although destroyed and rebuilt several times, modern buildings were built in the style of the Tang Dynasty, the period during which it was built the pagoda. The temple was built along an axis, in coordination with the buildings on either side. The beautiful architecture is built of brick with gray roof glazing. The many gardens hidden among many courts of the temple are very beautiful and a wonderful place for visitors to take a break and enjoy the beauty around them. The temple is full of antiques. The Forest of Stupas is hidden on one side of the temple complex is where the eminent monks are buried. Stupas or tablets, are exquisite and placed in the temple of ages.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda is more than 64 meters high and has 7 floors. It was built of bricks and each brick was of land individually before being placed to ensure a perfect fit. Each floor of the pagoda is smaller than before and each floor is marked by several rows of brick as a prism. Each floor has four arched doors and first floor of the lintels and door frames are covered with beautiful sculptures.'s Sculptures are ancient works of art. Visitors climb the interior stairs are rewarded with a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding area.
