Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art – Kansas City, Missouri
The dream of the tour of all lovers of art from museums and galleries worldwide. The Museum Nelson-Atkins Art Kansas City, Missouri, is a museum of art, you must add to your list.
This huge beautiful art work is considered one of the best museums the world. In fact, in 2007, Time magazine rated the new building expansion of the museum called the Bloch Building, among the ten new architectural wonders of the world. Spectacular indeed!
Apart from this pride, the museum also houses more than thirty thousand antique and contemporary art from around the world. There are masterpieces of Art Asia, Europe, America and Africa to see.
Some of these remarkable works of art by famous artists such as Caravaggio the artist behind the "Juan Bautista" paint. In addition, there are other masterpieces that are truly unmatched. These works include the collection of decorative art inspired U.S. and Europe, such as vases, tables, metal, ceramics, textiles, chairs, tables and other furniture.
In addition, a section of this photograph images captured from the nineteenth century. Famous photographers whose works appear in this section include Mathew Brady, George N. Barnard, Carleton Watkins, Edward Muybridge, Alfred Stieglitz, Harry Callahan, Robert Frank Edward Steichen, Edward Weston, Andre Kertesz, Diane Arbus and many more. And in this section that the photographic collection of the seal can also be seen.
Another section of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is the printing division. This is where the video more than five thousand more modern celebrities such as William Blake, Albrecht Durer, Francisco Goya, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein can be explored.
Another place to visit is the sculpture park in Kansas City. It is surrounded by enormous statues abstract amazing monuments and statues as "The Return of the Prodigal Son" by Jacques Lipchitz, "the hand Reclining Figure" and "internally big, "both by Henry Spencer Moore," Fly "Claes Oldenburg," the permanent numbers Thirty "by Magdalena Abakanowicz," Rush Hour " George Segal, "Rumi," by Mark Di Suvero, and "three course" Ursula von Rydingsvard. Yes, it is an ideal place for relaxation and entertainment familiar.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art also offers activities of interest to people of all ages. These include classes and workshops for youth and all Family, audio-tours, educational programs, workshops in the studio, in galleries adult programs as well as films and performances. The museum also offers programs community such as scholarship programs and a speakers bureau where speakers are invited and trained to share some interesting facts about the Nelson-Akins art museum a business school or club.
